Biography:

 

Mark M Thompson is a professional session guitarist who`s performing and recording credits include Paul McCartney, Sarah Brightman, Slash and McQueen, and ensembles including West End Shows the Jersey Boys, We will Rock You and the BBc`s Strictly Come Dancing Band.  He performs regularly with international award winning actress and singer Jan Graveson, Folk Artist Emily Barden and function band JAG, who have performed at Londons O2 Arena and the Le mans 24 in France amongst many other places.

Marks work has seen him play across the globe from supporting Bruce Springteen in New Jersey, London and Paris at the Hard Rock Café, to events throughout Europe and performing with Grammy Nominee and world record breaking Sarah Brightman for shows in China, the UK and CERN`s Fundamental Physics Prize ceremony in Geneva.

 

At home playing everything from folk, country and pop to heavy rock, blues and even modern metal, his abilities are some of the most sought after and dependable in London and the South coast where he currently lives.

Mark also has a project studio where he records and mixes for artists and bands, and where he composes music for TV and film- most recently for Cadbury`s.

He studied music and production at both the prestigious BRIT School and Liverpool Institute for Performing arts.
